Hi all!

So we're considering upgrading our Saturday Dinner offer.

In the Blue corner, we have Respawn regulars, Pizza Hut, offering their traditional range pizzas for $9.

In the Red corner, a newcomer appears! It's Bablui's, the family-owned and operated business in Bundoora, who (in this commentator's opinion) do some of the best pizzas in Melbourne, and for a mere $3 more than Pizza Hut can offer.

Both competitors offer an almost identical menu for the price.

As I stated in the Facebook post. Babalui's is absolutely brilliant. It justifies the price increase because the quality of the pizza is greatly increased.

As much as I liked Babalui's back in my uni days, it only took one meal to put me off them for years.
Me and a couple of mates ordered some pizzas and it turned out the sausage on the meat lovers and other pizzas was all kinds of wrong and we ended up with food poisoning and bed ridden for 2 weeks. Not cool.

Regardless, I'm still happy to pay the extra for their pizzas as they are made well.

Not sure if it still exists, but there was a pizza place in the opposite direction on Plenty rd, in with the Woolworths. They did awesome pizzas that were in my opinion (food poisoning aside), better than Babalui's. I also remember them having crazy deals for bulk orders.

we normally go to La Pizzeta just down Dunn St, but if Babaui's is up for grabs and I dont have to leave the venue, then I'm all for that!

babluis is prob the only one apart from pizza hut and dominos in the area that could handle volume we would be ordering

Quality>Price.

3 dollars more is reasonable.
