It seems at the moment we are being hit by 2 or 3 spam posts a day with content either NSFW or riddled with malware

I will do my best to delete these as quickly as possible as this is a security breach we can do nothing about (scripts that can decipher capcha)

but please use some common sense and DO NOT CLICK THE LINKS.

Cant you use an improved captcha, or add some arbitrary question to the validation process like "What State is Respawn Lan held in"

We already use email validation and reCAPTCHA in the registration process. As far as I can tell, these accounts are being manually created by a human, and then a script is used to send out the messages.

A patch has been applied to the forum software to help alleviate the problem.
