Full Version: UPDATE STEAM
A Steam client and Team Fortress 2 update were released this week so be sure to check that they're fully updated before the event tomorrow!
It should also be noted that if you or a friend forgets to update Steam before you get to the LAN, DON'T PANIC.
The Awesome Server And Comp Team Inc. here at Respawn will have a file mirror set up. Included in this mirror will be UP TO DATE GCF, NCF and COMMON files/folders for the main Steam Games. You are able to copy these to your steam directory, sign on to Steam, and BAM, YOU'RE UPDATED..
It should also be noted that these files need Steam. So don't think you can just copy these files over and play them without having Steam.
