The Reason no one is ever wanting to play MW2 part form some nubs.... Is because it was time for the gamers to stand up for there right to have fun with a game... Instead of being told what to like, what not to like and having NO Freedom to do what we want with a game.

IW can die in hell because there trying to take control.... i hope you like paying for new maps and stuff like that because they avoided the question about patches and replied with.... We do not want people to be able to create free mods, maps and patches for themselves. It is something that has gotten out of hand and we want to control it.
So in other word welcome to Xbox.... Playing for every patch, map or mod. You can only use there mods as well... * At least thats where there heading...*

as far as i know, you need a connection to IWnet to play MW2, and even if you are playing locally, it still pings itself through matchmaking servers, using a fairly decent amount of bandwidth.

Respawn is not equipped for this kind of high-bandwidth internet connection, and never will be, so i doubt that there will ever be MW2 at a respawn lan.

COD4, on the other hand, is played very regularly, has many competitions, and is just as good, if not better, than MW2 multi player!
